@dvshkn I thought that referred to the original name of the usage of that transparent purple color, whereas 'Millenial Green' started from brands co-opting genuine like of a color and turning it into so much branding that the term was coined specifically to shame interest.

@KayOhtie I always assumed it came out of millennial affinity for succulents and monstera plants. I guess it's sort of derogatory now, but it's kind of the only calming color I like. Other colors I'm into are all pretty loud.
