You wouldn't blow up your house, it's not complicated, medieval Chinese did it, you can too, it would be expensive though. Unless you feel like digging 6 to 10 ft down into the Earth, which I have done and is not fun. However,, if you can get explosives, that changes everything about getting down that far. You still need a tank, an old fuel oil tank might work even though.
