@gkrnours i have also heard this and it's incredibly upsetting. there was a discussion of "AI" policy on english wikipedia recently which was very poorly reported in the press where essentially someone paid contributors to use LLMs and the wikipedia admin who helped ensure they were able to continue doing the same now claims they were the progenitor of the first anti-"AI" policy on the site. just complete clown shit
