@cascheranno i often write down extensively why i cared so much about something in an attempt to avoid this. ideas arrived at in the dead of night are ideas arrived at after a day of thinking and concentration. you often have to recreate that after sleep (which is a good thing and it's why our brains need sleep). it doesn't mean you had nothing important to say if you simply can't remember it
