@hipsterelectron do you mean, like, destroy the internet and replace it with something better, or just get rid of it altogether? Cause if it's the second one then a lot of people's lives would be a lot worse without a way to communicate with people further away than their immediate vicinity and without the still-relatively-free access to information it provides

@worik @hazelnot surveillance and censorship can be and is performed in the face of "hard" (what does this mean?) encryption. you have an extremely narrow and slightly romantic view of how surveillance works
