@stellarsarah If he hadn’t tried to use her credit card, he might not have been caught. Insurance only paid out over £107k, nowhere near the £2+ million value. Items have never been recovered…

@HarriettMB yeah, it sounds like everything was massively under-insured. Assuming it was all actually in there and not stolen by someone else. It's just so careless. I don't even put my bag on the ground and the most expensive thing in that is usually a book.
