@harry_wood Ultimately I think it would be good if the notes system was expanded a bit more since it's essentially (started and still is) an issue tracker. As such it would be good if notes could "change state" such as "pending survey", "awaiting more detail" or "awaiting future /local changes" etc. There should be a separate button to tag and close notes that are "spam" to not affect analysis of data for how many notes get closed since it's all counted atm.

@harry_wood The tracking notes is a good thing you've pointed out as well. Personally not sure what should be done here. Normally I would add such things directly to the POI but it's not as obvious to mappers that those are there, so maybe a separate type of "tracking" note state (if we had states)? Overall it's a really good system and has let me done some bitesize mapping, which is nice.
