@nbathum I prefer to refer to it as either "arcane knowledge" or "ancient tales", to emphasise the age and obscurity as opposed to the otherness. If we're striving to reduce instances of othering, it does make sense to not refer to something as "tribal".

@Two9A @nbathum I like the term "institutional knowledge". It implies that the technical information is tied to this specific business entity. I can get behind " Arcane knowledge " though, it makes it sound like you are a spell caster who left your casting materials in your other robe...
