@electron_greg @gpowerf The C128 is a completely different computer with a C64 strapped to it. People think of it as a C64 with a 2MHz clock and 128KB RAM, but really it's two [actually, three when you count the Z80] separate computers sharing the same body. The native 128 mode uses a different memory map making it incompatible with C64 software, so there's no gentle upgrade path at all as with the Spectrum and CPC that could have software that worked on both 48/64K & 128K machines. A good C64, but truly an awful computer in every other regard except that.
