Does anyone know if those automatic dog whistles that trigger on a dog barking work, and if they aren't actually too harmful to dogs? I have a neighbor whose dog barks way too loudly way too frequently and I want the dog to stop, but I also don't want to hurt the dog.

That one dog barks like three times louder than other dogs that the same neighbor tends to have around sometimes too!!

@vikxin Those things are often times always on and quite loud to the dog, which makes things worse. They also generally just cause a dog to never stop barking because it makes them anxious as fuck. Also they only work if the dog is trained or if it catches their attention for the moment, it stops working once they drown it out.
