Perfect, because a nation starved of access to our natural (the clue is in the word, people) environment beset by anxiety needs less biodiversity, not more. This kind of thinking more than anything else is why we feel that collective sense of doom, because destroying one’s environment is pretty much behind the collapse of all empires and civilisations throughout history.
