@rootwyrm Yes, it seems that most of the problems have to do with the dependencies of CASA and its many versions versus time. Various efforts have been made to put it into containers and/or LMod modules, but these are individual efforts by people and centers, and not part of the official distribution. What a pain for innocent cluster operators!

@AlanSill thankfully I can say I've never actually been exposed to CASA. On the other hand, I'm why GFS2 has hard limits, can set up GPFS and VxFS from memory, and I know how to deploy LTFS and CernVM in fuse. This doesn't seem much better. ;P
