Trying to convince myself that the serendipitous gift from a neighbour of a folding wheelchair for days out when I can't do the walking required is actually a life improvement. It's the sort someone else pushes. My late gran was very stubborn about accepting help when she needed it for fear she gave up. I don't want to let that attitude prevent me from being able to enjoy some socialising on days where I'm mentally good and physically toast. It's a hard lesson to learn. #mecfs #disability
