@vulgalour I believe they did some testing on how we fill in lines, etc., and found that quite a bit of it is done by the eye itself, adding signal that isn't there, i.e., we add lines where they're “supposed” to be with simple shapes.. https://www.whatispsychology.biz/kanizsa-triangle-illusion-explanation
