Exactly. The `NoSuchMethodError` and codec stuff is actually a bit of a red herring here. The actual problem is that the user loaded the mod in an unsuppported Minecraft version. `class_5699.method_65313` resolves to `Codecs.listOrSingle`. Would that really have been any more useful?
