@Brendanjones When we set up payments for this instance (Mathstodon) I looked at Patreon, as it was the one people seemed most familiar with. After struggling for three hours to set it up I gave up, utterly disgusted.
I set up Ko-Fo ... less than 20 minutes and it works flawlessly.
In due course I'll be looking at other options, and am noting the comments here.

@ColinTheMathmo THIS IS A GOOD TIME TO REMIND US how to support Mathstodon .... can you post the link this weekend so interested folks can contribute?? So appreciate what you and Christian do to coordinate this community.
