#electronics, #arduino and #raspberrypi folks ... I want to build a standalone (battery or USB power) NFC reader that can connect to a wifi host and when a tag is tapped either query a remote supabase DB or local sqllite/csv source (thinking micropython or similar) to see if the serial number is found, if yes record it (again locally or in supabase) and make a green light come on or red light if not found (different sounds would be nice too). Any suggestions on cheapest but reliable hardware?
