The state of #Framework funding fascist DHH: - David Heinemeier Hansson is still a fascist. He is annoyingly part of various right-wing tech communities. He created a spin of Arch called Omarchy. Hyprland is the window manager for Omarchy. - Framework probably doesn't support him directly. Previously, they sent him a laptop and praised Omarchy. They also sponsored DHH's sour grapes Ruby on Rails conference last year. He made the conference after his keynote was cancelled at another one. - Framework sponsors Hyprland for 600 Euros a month. - DHH has not been banned from Hyprland and still files occasional bug reports. - Hyprland itself is yikes-adjacent. Some say it's on an improvement trajectory regarding its politics. - Everyone posting in favor of DHH runs the fascist "I'm just a little guy" routine (see pic).
