What a joy this planet is. The diversity of life forms, geologic forms, water and air and an endless list of treasures. Not to be taken, but with which we ought to commune.
If you stop for a second and pay attention there are a million things just BEING in any given moment. Plants growing, dying, bursting in colors the English language is too poor to describe. Insects, amphibians, cranes, slugs, squirrels, chipmunks!

We are eager to visit a beautiful shining bauble in our sky; but it is dusty and cannot sustain us. I prefer to engage with this planet before jetting off to another. As amazing as space travel is, we have amazing things to discover right here in our places. Happy Earth Day. #earthday
