sometimes whisper networks don't work
I tried quietly telling people about Brianna in 2015/2016 and was always dismissed, so I stopped trying. I didn't say anything publicly because if I didn't have support behind the scenes and didn't know if I'd have public support when she inevitably sent people to dogpile me.

@aleen@wandering.shop I didn’t know anything too much about her in that time, but she was in my Boston/MIT/Cambridge twitter nerd enclave and considered having her on as a guest on RI4E. Stuff happened and it didn’t work out… seems we dodged a bullet.
