@AmeliaBR This is not consent, so no, it does not meet GDPR. You cannot say “change your browser settings before you read this” to claim consent to tracking. If you don’t have active consent to tracking, you cannot track personal information.

@yatil That's true. So long as browsers by default allow 3rd party cookies, there is no active consent in that setting. But still, I like the idea of educating people about using browser settings, so they can turn off 3rd party trackers everywhere. (The linked page is also really good in that it goes into detail of naming every single cookie & which 3rd party service it is associated with. Which is mostly just a good reminder of why you should block all those 3rd party cookies!)
