This shit about the crucifix and pearl-clutchers getting so upset. The hypocrisy is stomach churning. It's literally an object. Which, if I'm not mistaken, God was pretty adamant no one was supposed to go around thinking really presented him. Real clear about it. It's the destruction of human life we're supposed to be outraged by. The destruction of the place he literally told you his image really is. If you're into that sort of thing, he was real clear about that, too. Ask an evangelical.
