@spiralganglion that well and truly sucks. I haven’t used Animate, but Macromedia Flash is what got me *really* into the web when others were writing games. Without it, Dreamweaver and Fireworks I would have never found this career I love so much. Truly heartbreaking

@kennethkalmer Animate was just Flash rebranded and neglected for a decade. It was exactly the Flash you remember. The Flash of the good old days. RIP
