@sahqon @greene I think there are more places like that these days, and units where midwives take the lead, rather than doctors. But that's in the UK. I bet it's a lot different in the US, because of the fear of being sued. I seem to recall hearing that obstetricians have higher premiums for malpractice insurance than any other specialty.

@beecycling @greene And here in eastern EU there don't seem to be any, though there probably are some. But people don't try home births around here as often either, they just try to bribe the doctors.
