@osma @greene In both cases, its an adult making a stupid decision… and both have the potential to take someone out (including children).
We actually had that situation a few weeks back, two kids on e-bikes collided on a path on the Sunshine coast… one 17, one 8. The 8 year-old died. Did the 8 year old have the same UN-protected rights as the baby that dies in a botched freebirth? I'm not a human-rights lawyer, but I would suspect yes.
I'm sorry, "person making stupid decision with tragic consequences" is "person making stupid decision with tragic consequences". In both cases, "tragic consequences" including denying human rights.
All you are doing with me right now, is haggling on what the nature of "stupid decision" and the resulting "tragic consequences" are. I see no difference here.
