Bees are only venomous if they sting you. But if you are eating delicious bee snacks out of a stolen purse, you'd need them to be poisoned to hurt the thief. edit I just realized Zulu made the same comment I did, like 2 hours earlier. Fuck, now I look like a copy and paste bot.

You don't actually know that. Perhaps they marinaded the bees in cyanide hoping the burglar would eat them.

How do you know for certain that the bee isn't coated in poison? Perhaps said bees wallowed in poison ivy effectively coating themselves in the leaves poisonous oil? We can't assume, you know what they say about assumptions?
