@pooblemoo do you think it's something damaging enough that I need to cut it all off and burn them or something? I've never seen this type before, it's a bit alarming

@Lionesslady hard to say. Do you see many or just the one? An article I read indicated that if only one patience is key. Most galls will not kill a tree and tend to cycle through times when they are abundant and times when they are rare. Many times the gall makers are easily found by natural enemies and your problem is solved.
