It's not even nurturing it's protecting her with violence against immanent threats.
"Blasting giant robots with a gun" is obviously different from "kissing booboos and refilling her apple juice" but I wouldn't expect a woman to understand that.
What the Internet has taught me since 2013 is that women understand men FAR less than men understand women

This is why child predators and woman beaters are universally treated like scum in prison. Even some of the most vile dregs of society will come together to condemn those who violate that order.
