I don&#39;t care if BlueSky gains popularity over Mastodon. At this point, I don&#39;t wanna be on the dance floor with the cool kids, imma be in the side room with the five weirdos I like.

And since this is getting more traction than I ever thought it would, let me be clear. I'm not saying Mastodon gets a free pass or that we don't need moderation here. Everybody needs to listen to folks who feel threatened here and make this platform better for them. It's just that as of now, I am not putting my trust in billionaire-owned social media platforms.

Please I do not understand this mania that everything here must be bigger and easier. NO it does not have to. Let it look more complicated! Then the stay away that should stay away!
