@nyhan interesting idea. I can imagine such tools being used at peer review stage but once published? Nah, Journal publishers want to pretend their peer reviewed papers are perfect :)

@nyhan crowd sourcing is nice idea but im skeptical researchera would do it, other citation sentiment/intent schemes would have taken off.
