@michaelthec years ago I had a Nintendo ds. One day it wouldn’t turn on. I feel like I bought it off of Facebook marketplace. It lasted me years and finally assumed it met its demise and I got more than I paid for it out of it. Bought a brand new one. Got home opened it and set it all up. I then remembered that I powered down the old one completely. Instead of putting it in rest mode like normal. Held down the power button a bit longer and booted right up. Full battery and everything. I laughed for days for wasting $200 or whatever it was for a new one. Ended up giving the old one to a friends daughter who used it for many years after. Never felt so stupid.
