Satire is powerful tool to cut through the hype layer to the kernel of realism. We definitely need that.
But the fact that CodeGen microwaves can be useful for fast-food-level code brings the question – how much of populous will move to fast food as a replacement for real food? And what effect will that have? Code-obesity?
ImageGen microwaves are cutting into the livelihoods of artists. That’s real.
So the remaining question is: is the complexity a wall that will be hit?

@mrudokas One reason I picked microwaves in particular is because there was a "everything will be microwaved" craze. That actually happened. But once people got over the novelty of microwaves they realized the output could be poor and went back to restaurants or regular cooking. Within restaurants the same thing is true. Most restaurants have at least one microwave. Some restaurants are highly microwave dependent and are usually not good.
