I was dealing with a customer yesterday who told me they needed a computer that could run a lockdown browser for college. I read through the spec requirements for the lockdown browser and it required a quad core CPU with 2.4GHz on a Mac if it is Intel, and for some reason that class *requires* a Mac :neocat_googly_woozy: The quad core requirement makes every single 13 inch MacBook model incompatible with this software, and over half of 15 inch MacBook Pros are also incompatible with this software because of the clock speed requirement, so only a very small fraction of newer non base model higher end MacBook Pros and desktops are compatible. And this is software that is made for *students*. Are they geniuses? What are they smoking?
