As depressing as it is to be flooded with doom content all the time, it kinda proves, in a roundabout way, that humans are good people on average. If we weren't, we wouldn't need this gigantic propaganda machine to try and, often unsuccessfully!, convince us that people are bad and things are hopeless so why bother trying (here, get enraged about crap that doesn't matter and that you can't do anything about instead!) This level of propaganda doesn't just happen by accident. And it's clearly not just a representation of humanity and the world either. It's misdirection. And it's necessary to try and break our spirit. Because the billionaires and the fascists and the epsteins of the world fear nothing more than our humanity. Our beingness. Because what's inherent in us is truth and love and solidarity and care and oneness with nature. It takes SO MUCH to suppress that, and it only ever works temporarily.
