@pemensik It should be sufficient to file a report against the systemd repository. It is considered a regression if it is in a published release. That's not that different from the kernel. Ofc, it's possible to detect a potential regression before it is released by e.g., running a development version or noticing it in the tests. Reporting this would also be fine.
