@wezm with 87% population living in the Northern hemisphere, you can probably forgive people this harmless default assumption :-)

  • @isagalaev no I don't think so. It's really not that hard to be aware that there are two hemispheres and their seasons are swapped.

    @isagalaev @wezm I think not. To properly use the seasons, you have to qualify them. Even in the northern hemisphere. I'm in the USA, and if I'm talking winter new Mexico, that's the 62 day period when you might get snow in the morning, but it will be gone by noon. If you're talking winter in some parts of Alaska, you're talking about the best nine months of the year. And of course, if you're talking about anywhere in the Southern Hemisphere you have totally flipped expectations unless you say where it is in the southern hemisphere. Why is it so hard for people to figure out that the planet is a globe?
