@aparrish London Plane is the best fidget tree because you can peel off a bit of bark as you walk past, and crumble it in your fingers, and imagine that to the tree it feels like when Eustace Scrubb peels off his dragon skin in Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Oaks make bouncy balls and throw them at you in October, which is also pretty great.
