Hey, Australian/New Zealander friends?
How much is an Australian gallon in millilitres?
I'm getting 4,546 from the internet - is that correct?
I've literally never thought in "gallons" in my life, so I've got no immediate "yeah, that sounds about right", and it seems like different countries use different measurements??
Context: I need to dissolve 1 tsp of powdered medicine/supplement in 2 gallons of water for my budgies.
The medicine/supplement (Ronivet) is from an Australian company, per the label.
Given how little 1 tsp is vs 2 gallons, I *really, really* don't want to mess up the proportions; also, I don't have anything which can hold 4 1/2 litres of water, so I'm going to have work out how much to put into 1 litre or maybe 1.1 litres.
I have measuring spoons which go down to 1/4 tsp, which I *think* is correct for 1.1 litre.
