@daks @kudra Interesting? Yes. New? No.
Have you heard about Onion that I mentioned in my previous answer? The encapsulation and routing protocol behind TOR network? Invented in 1990 - 1994 or so with the same idea.
Persistent key based addresses - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.onion
DHT based routing with privacy and encryption - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Onion_routing
It has been studied extensively in the last three decades.

Reticulum feels VERY similar.

@daks @kudra The Zen of RT then talks about networking, but that is where I disagree with it. For example: "A Carrier-Grade Fallacy" As a HAM operator I can't agree at all. "Reticulum is designed to function over media the traditional internet cannot touch - bare wires, battery-powered radios, ... " 802.15.4 + 6LoWPAN is exactly about this. The ISO/OSI layering makes it possible to combine technology for various environments. Taking shortcuts (skipping or merging layers) limits options.

@marsik But isn't the Tor/Onion protocol/network based on TCP/IP ? If it is, it suffers the same problems of centralization (IP at least) , isn't it ? @kudra
