but while meshtastic and meshcore are somewhat plug and play and I can find users nearby, reticulum is not: you need more than a lora board: a computer to run rnode, and also no users at 100s of kms around.
Maybe I just need to buy some stuff and start experimenting, instead of waiting for the perfect solution to be available, maybe. This is clearly not my usual way of thinking: I don't like disposable stuff.
And it would help me find like-minded people and think about it all together.

@daks you can get just a lora board to run an RNode and use Sideband on Android, I did it recently! But there are not many users at this stage & I think not much discussion around Reticulum, even though it was created a decade ago! I think it is the future though.
