i'm not sure that this has the plasticity of normal brains - memories aren't just data, they're connections between the neurons.
Whereas in memory-augmented systems, they're separate.
I feel a dissonance in myself
because technically, this does address some of the issues with "agents", but I can't help but feel there's still something major missing
other than the fact they're being used to terrorize open source devs and all the other ethical problems

@lilacperegrine Yeah, I share that sense of conflict, and I agree this is very far from what nature does. As for ethics, I feel like this paper just tried to wash its hands of all that by adding a section about how this should be used responsibly. :nkoFacepalm2:
