@baldrpup awesome list, I feel like I couldn't find a good slot for Castlevania or Metroid even though a ton of my fav games ever are rooted in that design philosophy. I feel like I should have just made a 4x4 grid of games regardless of the prompts that define me the most.

@garak I think what our friends tasked ourselves with was 25 favorites or whatever. This is kinda my desert island playlist, where I can pick up and play any of these at any time and be happy.
