i strongly feel that the whole "we will all be replaced by ai and robots" thing is neoliberal propaganda strategically pushed to sow fear of disposability to squash worker's rights the narrative here is we should be happy with the bare minimum because we will be replaced otherwise and it's so bad how many people are falling for it. if they could actually replace you with a machine, they would have done so the moment it was possible, they wouldn't simply keep telling you about it and not do it
