truly the most warming aspect of soup is getting up and doing shit to make soup

feel betrayed by the potatoes we were trying to make sure all the vegetables were fully cooked before adding broth and they were literally drooping but some of them are still crunchy and not even a little soft so I guess it's time to wait an hour for them to soften
