@kirschner @techlore @fsfe @pjitendra i also largely see this as unenforceable (as stated regarding the UK in this piece) https://circumstances.run/@hipsterelectron/116266785368730233 but i'm very concerned about how readily this US provision has caused european software providers to introduce changes into their software to comply.

@kirschner @techlore @fsfe @pjitendra i think age verification is completely the wrong angle to approach this with and it's far more of a surveillance bill imposed by the US (particularly microsoft) upon open-source operating systems used the world over
