I am, just so we are clear, pro Labor. That doesn't mean that I have to agree with everything they do. It’s one of the great joys of being an engaged voter that’s not on the benches of parliament, I don’t have to tow a party line. The issue’s pretty simple: Most places don’t have enough fuel. Cutting the excise doesn’t solve that issue in any way. It just brings cost down.
