THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!!
- A perfect script executed flawlessly
- The score is incredible
- Cannot be remade and yet remains deeply relevant
- "I'm not afraid of death...I am afraid of murder"
- small, early role by Hollywood's Weed Dealer-turned-actor Harrison Ford
- Gene Hackman managing to make 1960s suiting look uncool (it IS the mid-70s) as a character note
- Teri Garr's scene breaks my heart every time
- are you someone who misses Dials and Switches? Hey buddy.

I'm sorry, I'm not done: - The editor on this film was Walter Murch, aka the reason Film Guys think Touch of Evil is one of the best movies of all time. - Cindy Williams is so good in this, I genuinely forget all the time that she was also, y'know, known for other work in the 70s (Laverne & Shirley) - JOHN CAZALE ALERT - I wish this was the movie from the golden age of American cinema that dudes quoted all the time instead of The Godfather. Same director even! Come on!
