One thing that really grinds my gears is casuals not understanding that high end gaming peripherals are like any other high performance machine. You don’t hear F1 drivers complaining about how much work it takes to keep their cars in top shape, do you? It’s really not that much work. Just completely disassemble the mouse, put the shell in an ultrasonic parts cleaner for 30 to 60 minutes, then dunk in plastic-safe disinfectant solution. Rinse with deionized water, dry with filtered compressed air, and reassemble. If you can’t afford to invest 2 hours in basic maintenance each night you really don’t deserve top-end equipment.
