@NatalyaD this is one of the reasons my mother, who has post-polio syndrome, hardly dares to go anywhere unless she knows she can park close by.

@jboy A lot of it about. I have more capacity than I've had, but I have to be careful and if I blow my overall walking level in a day/few-days I suffer for it. People who walk typically just don't understand how restrictive it can be. Even at levels above where you can access official disability supports like disability parking permits etc.
