My local car mechanic actually has a working IBM PC in his waiting room with a drive. I could probably try to read the disk, but I have no way to get it out. Maybe with some serial to usb thing?

@TTimo@mastodon.social Check local community college computer programs. They may have old hardware in lab classes - teaching repair, OS installs, that kind of thing. Alternately - local "Maker Spaces" - they may have old computer equipment amongst their other hobby tools... for example our Kazoo Makers... https://kzoomakers.org Just some ideas...
